Men's & Women’s Golf & Social Groups

You will find many Avondale groups ranging from our Ladies’ Club to Pickle-ball. There is a wide range of activities that are fit for you! Come be a part of our club.  

Golf Groups: Men's Warm-Ups, Mamalukes, Ice Pack, Golden Eagles, Sunday Skins, Ladies' 18 Hole Club, 9er's, Ladies' Pick Game, Avondale Putters

Social Groups: Pickleball, Ladies’ Games, Mahjong Card Game, Melderman, Hand & Foot Card Game, Gin Rummy Ohama, Hold Em’ Poker and many more!

Tennis & Pickleball

What is Pickleball?

Invented in the sixties by a group of friends as a backyard game, pickleball mixes elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. The underhand serve is gentler on the joints than tennis while the shorter court creates a more social atmosphere. It can be enjoyed by two, three, or four players. Simple rules make it a fun, easy game for beginners while still being competitive for more experienced players. All members have access to the tennis court and two pickleball courts which are located just outside the main Clubhouse. For more info contact us at [email protected] or 760.345.2727.

Health & Fitness

Avondale’s Fitness Center that is located near the Golf Shop offers a variety of equipment for our members.

Gather your friends for a workout and then get together in the Garden Dining Room afterwards for some drinks and healthy snacks. Our location of the fitness center helps create a unique and exclusive environment specifically meant for the members of Avondale to improve their overall health and wellness.

A Unique Experience.

There is not another private country club in the valley that has a nearly 360-degree panoramic view of the valley from 40 ft. up, extending east to the Santa Rosa Mountains, all the way to the north and the little San Bernardino Mountains in view. Members and their guests can spend an evening experiencing the social atmosphere of a cocktail lounge, listening to soft music with friends and making new ones!

The Club’s cuisine includes a satisfying selection of Member’s favorites, specials of the day, healthy choices, buffet dining and event menus, all complemented with gracious service.
